Aged 58,
Patient suffering from cancer of the prostate.
Proved malignancy by punch operation and biopsy.
No X-ray or radium treatment. No overt symptoms.
Weekly treatment commenced on July 10,
and no change in prostate noticed until 8/28/59
when prostate was observed as smaller in size, but still hard.
On Oct. 2 palpation revealed the prostate had softened appreciably. Treatment continuing.
